Course Overview: 

PRINCE2® is the world's most practised method for project management, with over one million certified professionals across 150 countries worldwide. Developed by leading best practice solutions provider AXELOS, it offers a practical, flexible and scalable methodology to help manage any project, regardless of size or type. The PRINCE2® (6th edition) methodology is a made up of seven core Principles, Themes and Processes. The Principles represent the 'why', the Themes represent the 'what', and the Processes represent the 'how' of project management. Together these methodologies provide a clear path to help ensure project management success.PRINCE2® has two levels – Foundation and Practitioner, which can be taken individually or as a PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course.

Who should attend: 

This PRINCE2® Practitioner course is suitable for individuals who have already completed the PRINCE2® Foundation qualification and are keen to progress onto more senior responsibilities within a project management team, such as becoming a Project Manager.

We recommend this PRINCE2® qualification to individuals looking to receive first-class project management training, gaining the skills required to improve employability prospects and build a career as a Project Manager. 

Prerequisites: 

To start studying the PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification, you will need to have passed either the PRINCE2® Foundation qualification (5th Edition or 6th Edition), or: 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)®
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
  • IPMA Level A®, B, C, or D

Certification: 

Upon successful completion of the exam delegates will receive a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification. This qualification is accredited by AXELOS which is a join venture between the Cabinet Office and Capita plc.

  • 38/68 required to pass = 55% pass mark

Virtual Class Technical Requirements
To access a virtual class you must have the following:

  • A PC or laptop with good (1Mbps or more) internet access
  • A microphone and speaker or headset (recommended)
  • Webcam (preferably)
  • Chrome web browser
  • Ability to access Google drive (you do not need a personal account but your laptop / PC must not block access)

Our standard platform for training is currently GoTo Training, however in certain circumstances based on region we use Teams or Zoom. If you are unsure if your systems are compatible please contact us before booking.
