Industry Forum is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and were formed in 1996. As a leading provider of expert consultancy and training to industrial organisations, we are known for helping them increase competitiveness and improve efficiency. We’ve been delivering organisational and personal improvement programmes across many different industries.

The Industry Forum office is based in Birmingham, however we deliver our services both in the UK and overseas and therefore our consultants typically spend majority of their time at client premises.

In 2020 a group of 38 employees from across SMMT Group (comprising of SMMT, SMMT Industry Forum and The Motor Ombudsman) founded a task force dedicated to exploring Diversity and Inclusion needs and goals for the wider business.
