Course Overview: 

PRINCE2® is a globally practised method for project management, which has over a million certified professionals, spanning 150 countries. Developed by best practice solutions provider AXELOS, it offers a flexible, practical and scalable methodology, to help manage projects of any size or type.

The PRINCE2® (6th edition) methodology is a made up of seven Principles, Themes and Processes. The Principles represent the 'why', the Themes represent the 'what', and the Processes represent the 'how' of project management. Together these methodologies will provide you with a clear path to ensure project management success.

PRINCE2® has two levels – Foundation (3 days) and Practitioner (2 days), which can be taken individually or as a PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course (5 days). Whether you’re looking to get a PRINCE2® Project Management qualification for yourself or as an organisational requirement, this course will be beneficial to you and your company. The PRINCE2® Foundation qualification is recommended to individuals who are looking to gain first-class project management skills and improve their employment prospects and would suit those looking to go on to the PRINCE2® Practitioner level.  

Prerequisites: 

While having a basic understanding of project management would be beneficial, there are no formal prerequisites to enrol onto the PRINCE2® Foundation qualification. 

Certification: 

Upon successful completion of the exam delegates will receive a PRINCE2 Foundation qualification. This qualification is accredited by AXELOS which is a join venture between the Cabinet Office and Capita plc.

Official PRINCE2® Foundation exams (6th Edition)

In order to receive your PRINCE2® certification you will need to take a closed-book exam.

PRINCE2® Foundation Exam (6th Edition)

Purpose: To ensure that you are capable to act as an informed member of a Project Management team, using PRINCE2® methodologies.

Examination format
  • 60-minute exam duration
  • 60 questions
  • Closed book
  • 33/60 required to pass = 55% pass mark

Virtual Class Technical Requirements
To access a virtual class you must have the following:

  • A PC or laptop with good (1Mbps or more) internet access
  • A microphone and speaker or headset (recommended)
  • Webcam (preferably)
  • Chrome web browser
  • Ability to access Google drive (you do not need a personal account but your laptop / PC must not block access)

Our standard platform for training is currently GoTo Training, however in certain circumstances based on region we use Teams or Zoom. If you are unsure if your systems are compatible please contact us before booking.
