How robust is your PFMEA? The Reverse FMEA process aims to identify and validate all potential failure modes and the controls in either a Process FMEA or a Machinery FMEA. It focuses initially on critical processes first (complaints, high risk) but can be expanded to cover all process steps. This leads to a better understanding of new projects, major changes, poka-yoke and mistake proofing devices. It also attempts to purposefully generate new defects and challenge existing understanding.
The 8 Disciplines (8D) Problem Solving methodology is a globally recognised, structured approach to identifying, correcting, and preventing recurring problems. Originating in the automotive sector and now widely used across multiple industries, 8D is a powerful tool for quality improvement and root cause analysis.
VDA 19.1 training (often titled "Skilled Assistant for Technical Cleanliness") covers the inspection, extraction, and analysis of particulate contamination on functional automotive components according to VDA Volume 19.1 and ISO 16232 standards.
This training will provide you with a compact overview of the contents, objectives and application of VDA Volume 6.3. It is an introduction to quality management and VDA 6.3, discussing the structure of VDA Volume 6.3, areas of application and introductory insights into audit implementation. This course is ideally if you are just starting your VDA 6.3 journey.

The IATF 16949 Management Awareness Training is an interactive course supported by group exercises and open discussion. The practical emphasis of this course provides a great opportunity for individual guidance, support and learning.
This participative course is made up of a number of modules supported by group exercises and open discussion. Delegates are evaluated through a proctored knowledge and application exam at the end of the course. The IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Training is a participative course and is made up of a number of modules supported by group exercises and open discussion.
The Core Tools Certification Training (APQP, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP) is a 5 day course covering all the core tools using a "learn by doing" teaching approach. After short teach points delegates practice the use of the tools using case studies and delegate exercises. Delegates passing the application exam at the end of the course receive certification from the SMMT IATF approved oversight office in the UK.
APQP and Control Plan is module one of the Core Tools Certification Training programme. This module can be completed as a standalone course or as part of the full Core Tools Certification Training.
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, (FMEA), is an analytical method to ensure potential problems have been considered, assessed for risk and actioned as part of both product and process design. It provides a record of an organisations collective knowledge about products and processes. Statistical Process Control, (SPC), is a method for gaining an understanding of the types of variation within a process and hence guide actions to either control or reduce this variation. It is used in many industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and mobile power generation.
Measurement System Analysis, (MSA), is a method for gaining an understanding of the variation present in measuring systems. It is now widely used in many industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and mobile power generation, when a high level of confidence is required for the measurement of product characteristics.
Production Part Approval Process, (PPAP), is a method of demonstrating a product or process is production ready. The method was developed by the North American Automotive Industry and is now widely used in many industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and mobile power generation.
The Core Tools Fundamentals e-course focuses on the Core Tools which are the foundation of most automotive manufacturers and supplier’s quality management systems.
