The IATF Auditor Guide represents a consolidation of automotive audit best practice based on the IATF automotive process approach to auditing. It defines the logical activities and required auditor competencies throughout the entire IATF 16949 audit process.  The Guide is structured to provide both knowledge and application competency criteria against each stage of the audit process.

The Guide is intended to help organizations identify and develop the competencies of their auditors.

Updated to align with the 6^th edition of the IATF certification scheme Rules, this edition of the Auditor Guide includes a new section on auditing corporate schemes.
