Aerospace Internal Auditor (Based on AESQ RM13005)

This course is designed for auditors supporting an organisations internal audit programme and others who have a working knowledge of quality systems within the aerospace sector and/or any previous auditing experience.

• The 7 Quality Management Principles and the impact on the writing of Quality standards

• The context of the organisation and its impact on the scope of the QMS
• The term "non applicable" and its impact on the QMS
• The structure and content of ISO 9001 and how it relates back to Annex SL
• The structure of IAQG 9100 and how the Aerospace sector requirements are covered
• Definitions used within ISO 19011 to describe audit activities
• The relationships covered by audit types
• The audit process steps and interaction within AS13100, AESQ RM13005 and IAQG 9100
• What makes a good auditor and requirements for auditor competence as per ISO 19011

Delegates will learn the skills required to become competent in structuring, planning and undertaking an internal system audits against AS13100, AESQ RM13005 and IAQG 9100/9110/9120 aerospace standards.

Delegates will understand the high-level structure of the new standard and its application across other management system standards (Annex SL).

Delegates will understand how risk management is incorporated into the standard and how this risk-based approach should be applied to auditing.

Delegates will receive an AS13100, AESQ RM13005 and IAQG 9100 Internal (1st party) Auditor Training certificate of attendance underwritten by the UK IATF Oversight Office.
